    Description

A real antique piece, this Japanese cup is absolutely unique. It has been made in the late 1920s out of almost paper-thin porcelain which is completely see-through in the light. It has been handmade by an esteemed manufacturer. Its surface is decorated with beautiful floral motifs which form bouquets full of flowers and leaves. The handle of the cup is colored golden. However, what is the most striking about this cup is its bottom. It depicts a portrait of a beautiful woman resembling an Empress. She is there waiting to be seen after you have drunk your tea.
The cup is sold together with the saucer made out of the same material and decorated in the same fashion. The stamp of the manufacturer is printed on its bottom.
