Fluorescent Margarosanite, Franklin, NJ #2

Description

A medium sized specimen of an unusual cherty beige willemite(fl. green) matrix with an area of margarosanite(fl. pink), longwave fluorescent bustamite and andradite. There is also black franklinite and golden andradite garnet. This is not a particularly large or rich specimen, but it is a real margarosanite and a great starter piece until you decide to upgrade to a larger one. The light-colored area of margarosanite has a "platy" appearance in daylight. Size is 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 2". Weight is 1 lb. 2 oz. or 500 gr. Photos 1-5 are shortwave UV and photos 6 & 7 are longwave UV. The longwave fl. bustamite is best seen in photo #6.
I combine shipping wherever possible. I offer discounts in most cases for multiple purchases. I carefully pack and pad each item securely in a cardboard mailing box.
