Fluorescent Mineral Slab Set, Franklin/Sterling Hill Mining District, NJ #1

Description

A set of two fluorescent cut slabs from the Franklin Mining District. There is reddish-brown willemite, calcite and franklinite present on these. Under shortwave UV, the willemite glows green and the calcite is bright red/orange. The franklinite is non-fluorescent. One edge is cut so the specimen will stand up.   Size: 4" x 2-1/2" and 3-1/2" x 2-1/2". Both slabs are about 7/16" or 1 cm. Combined weight for these is 15.5 oz. or 440 grams. The slabs are smooth but not polished.
I always combine shipping wherever possible. I offer discounts for mutiple purchases in most cases. I carefully pad and pack each item in a cardboard mailing box. I do not supply a gift box
