Description
LONG WAVE UVFluorescent orange Zircon crystal that is nice sized (relative to most from here) and terminated. It is one of a couple Zircons on this specimen but the only one that fluoresces. Long wave UV reaction.
The Zircons are on a specimen of Iron stained Anorthoclase Feldspar that was once part of the Pegmatite of the Stettin pluton. Also noted on this sample is Arfvesdonite.
From the Stettin Pluton, Marathon county, Wisconsin.

Overall specimen is 2" length and the main Zircon roughly 1/4"
