Large Red/Brown Willemite & Andradite, Franklin, NJ (Turkey Tail Pattern)

Description

A large specimen of mostly solid red/brown willemite with some golden andradite. Note the unique radiating pattern seen in photos 2, 4 & 12, known as a "turkey tail". The willemite itself is very dense, heavy and almost "cherty". Size: 4-1/2" x 3" x 3". Weight is 2 lbs. 3 oz. or 990 grams. Photographs 1, 5, 7 & 9  are under shortwave UV lamps and photos 3, 10 & 11 are longwave. From the Franklin Mine, Franklin, NJ.
I always combine shipping whenever possible. I offer a discount for multiple purchases in most cases. I carefully pad and pack each item securely in a cardboard mailing box.
