    Description

    LONG WAVE and SHORT WAVE UV
    Brilliant orange fluorescing Mangano (Manganese) Calcite. Fluoresces under both long wave and short wave, though  brighter with long wave (using a Convoy S2). Image #3 is long wave, the other short wave.
    The specimen is mostly white with a granular surface texture, there is some light pink color seen in some banding along the one side.
    From Pachapaqui mining district, Peru.
    180 grams.
    2-1/8" length.

    Short wave images were shot under a 5 watt short wave lamp (254nm) and long wave using a Convoy S2 LED flashlight.
